I didn't come across one in my reserach, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have occurred. Most of my reseaarch was done as it realted to the first 10 years or so of Singapore.

Thank you so much for this article. In going through old family papers I've run across a sheet of the Singapore bank notes. How wonderful to now have a history to go along with such lovely artwork.

We'd heard these were around in a box somewhere, but the story attached to them, although delightful, was truly a work of fiction. The people retelling and embellishing The tale were/are Wilder descendants. Now we can pass on your website rather than conjecture.
